A Kiss Interrupted
Comfort her. Tell her you understand. Offer to help.
Instead, Victor used his free arm to pull her into his arms and kissed those parted red lips. He sighed when her lips melted under his. Their entwined hands squeezed. He tugged her closer as pleasure exploded through his limbs, trunk, and hit his groin. She fit in his arms, felt right, tasted right. But something struck him. He wanted her, not Linette, as his bride.
His arm remained wrapped around her, and through their entwined hands a pulse beat as their hearts thundered in tandem. The kiss continued, now nibbles, now a battle of tongues, now tender passion. He didn’t want it to end. Victor could kiss her for the rest of his life, forgoing sleep and food so long as her lips gave him meaning.
“Fern, where are you?”
Her lips formed an O as her body stiffened. She pulled back, though their fingers remained entangled.
“Here, Michael,” those red lips called to another.
